recording tools
Like most players these days, I'm using my PC to record my tunes on. I'm very
happy with Cubase SX3, EZ Drummer and a multitude of plugins. Mic wise, I'm
using the Audix i5 and Shure SM57 on the guitar cabs and an Octava MK-319
for acoustics.
Currently in my Rack:

Top: Furman Power Conditioner. Protect your investment with one
of these units.

Second: ART DI/O Stereo Tube preamp. For the money, these
thing's are great. When recording with digital (especially into a DAW), I try
to run as much as I can through this unit to add some vintage tube warmth.

Third: BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer. Add's clarity and definition
to everything.

Fourth: Rocktron SuperC. Helps keep things quiet.

Fifth: Lexicon MX200. A nice sounding little unit I use for some minor reverb and delays.

Sixth: AB Pro Series power amp. This is used to push the reference monitors.

Bottom: Peavey 6505+ 120 watt head. The 6505 Plus features six 12AX7 preamp tubes and four 6L6GC power amp tubes.
